The Solar and Heliospheric Observator  View the Sun as seen from a satellite between the Earth and the Sun. Images are in real time at a variety of wavelengths.

The University of Central Lancashire runs distance learning courses for anyone interested in astronomy. As someone who has done a couple of them myself I can recommend it.

The Meteorological Office has all the latest weather forecasts for the UK and Worldwide. See if it will be clear later for astronomy or if an umbrella is necessary.
